What Dark Ice Management is.
Dark Ice Management LLC is the shared services platform of the Dark Ice companies. It employs their staff, holds their office leases and provides finance, compliance, legal, technology and investor services to Dark Ice Ventures LLC and Dark Ice Capital LLC under services agreements. It does not manage capital for the public.
Adviser status.
Dark Ice Management LLC plans to register with the SEC as an investment adviser, with Dark Ice Ventures LLC and Dark Ice Capital LLC as relying advisers under that registration. Until that registration is effective, Dark Ice Ventures LLC relies on the venture capital fund adviser exemption as an exempt reporting adviser. Dark Ice Management LLC, Dark Ice Ventures LLC and Dark Ice Capital LLC are subsidiaries of Dark Ice Global LLC.
Affiliated funds.
Funds advised by Dark Ice Ventures and Dark Ice Capital are described on their own websites and offered only under their own documents, to investors who qualify. Nothing here describes their terms.
Plans, not promises.
Statements about the platform, its offices, staffing, registration and programs are intentions, not promises, and may change. The platform is in formation.
No track record as a firm.
Dark Ice Management is a new company. Its co-founder William Pohl III began managing investment funds in 2005; no results of the funds he ran before are shown on this site.

Companies, agencies and institutions named on this site are named for context and are not affiliated with Dark Ice unless stated.

Photographs on this website, other than the portraits of our team and the photographs of their dogs, are licensed stock photography. They illustrate our work and do not show Dark Ice offices, people or portfolio companies.

Scope
This policy explains how Dark Ice Management LLC collects, uses and protects personal information through this website and the email addresses listed on it. Investors in funds advised by Dark Ice Ventures or Dark Ice Capital receive separate privacy notices with their fund documents.
What we collect
The name, email address, organization and message you send through our contact form, and anything you choose to send to one of our email addresses. Our website host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and working. Please do not send us sensitive personal information.
How we use it
Only to respond to you and to run our business: answering inquiries, considering job applications, working with vendors and landlords, and meeting our legal, compliance and recordkeeping obligations.
No sale
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host and email provider, under obligations to protect it; with another Dark Ice company when your inquiry concerns it; and when the law requires it.
