Platform
Eight functions that every Dark Ice company would otherwise have to build alone, built once and provided under services agreements.

The functions
Built once, provided to every company.
We employ every person on the platform: investment teams, program staff and the shared functions. Payroll, benefits, the handbook and the benefit plans sit here. Pay is top of market by design.
Employer of record
Six offices, one lease each, all held and run by Dark Ice Management. Dallas is the headquarters; the other five house the vertical teams that fit each city best.
Six leases
The platform budget, the monthly close, oversight of each fund’s administrator, audit and tax coordination, and the written cost-allocation method.
Budget and close
One manual, one code of ethics and one set of platform policies for every Dark Ice company, with a single Chief Compliance Officer employed here.
One program
Formation and records for every Dark Ice entity, the services agreements, contracts and insurance, the committee charters, signing authorities and ownership records.
Every entity
One technology standard: the tenant, devices, security and the business continuity plan, plus the systems the investment teams work on every day.
One standard
The investor database, onboarding and verification workflow, reporting calendar and the administrator’s portal, run once for every fund, plus the marketing review that clears every public document.
Every fund
One set of providers for the platform, each with a named backup: counsel, auditor, tax, administrator, banks, insurance broker and compliance support.
Primary and backup
How we charge
Written down and reviewed each year.
Services agreements
Dark Ice Ventures LLC and Dark Ice Capital LLC each contract with Dark Ice Management for people, offices and shared services.
Allocation
Shared costs are allocated between the companies under a written method, by the people, space and systems each one uses.
Funds
Each fund bears only the expenses its own documents allow. Nothing is passed from one fund to another.
Reporting
Allocations are reported to each company and, where a fund is charged, to that fund’s Advisory Committee.
The structure
One parent, three operating companies, all Delaware.
The parent. Owns the three operating companies and each fund’s general partner, and owns and licenses the Dark Ice names, logos, trademarks and domains.
Parent
The shared platform: employer of record, lease holder, back office and the planned SEC filing adviser for the platform.
darkicemgmt.com
Venture capital: 44 specialist verticals, two funds each. Its funds are described on its own website.
darkiceventures.com
IVPrivate capital: owns and oversees eight platform companies, each with its own brand. Its website is at darkicecapital.com.

Hiring is paced by management fees.
Delaware entities formed, offices leased, providers engaged, the compliance program written.
2026
The shared platform team: finance, compliance, legal, people, technology and investor services.
Shared team
Each Dark Ice Ventures vertical team is hired into its home office as its first fund closes.
